Frari church and Saint Roch Grand School

The glorious Franciscan church known like Frari in San Polo district is a treasure of sacred art, sculptures and paintings. Private noble families commissioned to the best contemporary artists incredible paintings to celebrate themselves and their active political role in town. Later, the famous painter Jacopo Robusti known like Tintoretto worked for the Saint Roch Grand School, a brotherhood, for about 30 years of his life. Beauty, art and religion are mixed in the decoration of that building.
